The Austrian String Quintet in Rio

7 October 2016

VIENNA CHAMBER SYMPHONY

Viena-ChaberOn October 25th at 09:00 pm, Teatro Bradesco will receive on their stage the string quintet from Austria.

The quintet was formed in 2006 during the “Year of Mozart” and the group was born from the meeting of musicians from the very first level, based in Vienna, together with the common goal of merging their individuals artistic experiences with a unique and compelling design. Their philosophy is to make music with the highest level of joy, innovation and tradition.

The String Quintet Vienna Chamber Symphony (Wiener Kammersymphonie) started in Spain with concerts dedicated to Mozart, the genius of Salzburg.

Then, they presented a project dedicated to Austrian composers who were contemporaries of Mozart and with the intention of showing that they were opened to any kind of merger with other artistic expressions, they carried out in the “Umbria Music Festival”, crossover projects, fusing pure Viennese classicism with influences from hip-hop dance.

They have performed at the Ravello Festival (Italy), Alba Musicfestival (Italy) and MusicFest Side (Turkey), among others where their concerts were appreciated by audiences and critics, who consider them the best, ever.

On their presentation in Rio they will play W. A. Mozart, E. W. Korngold – Maerchenbilder and L. v. Beethoven
